•             Baku Waterpark
In Fuerteventura’s huge water park, situated on a 200 thousand square feet area, you can spend a whole day in one of the several pools of the complex or trying one of the so many attractions that you can find over here. There are different slides, wave pools, also jacuzzis, a baby and toddler’s area, children areas and the park has a bowling court for those not wanting to swim! Here you can also find good restaurants and bars together with a gift shop. Also, check out the street arts and crafts area also being part of the park.

•             Fuerteventura Grand Tour
Although not an attraction in itself, still it is the best and most economical way to go around the whole island and learn about the history and culture of Fuerteventura from a local guide. Starting from Corralejo, the tour heads to South towards La Olivia with several stops that include a stop by Tindaya, the sacred mountain of the island, a visit to a farm with the tasting of goat cheese, visiting Betancuria, which used to be the capital of the island in the medieval times. You will also go through a great oasis and visit a local church. Look at the ancient wall that used to be the border dividing the island into two parts. The excursion includes the visiting some of the most beautiful beaches of the island in Costa Calma and Jandia but does not stop here. Quick visits to Caleta de Fuste, Puerto fel Rosario finish the great trip, which afterwards arrives back from where it has started.

•             Zoo of La Lajita
It is a great little zoo; formerly called Oasis de los Camellos, its main attraction is still the camel ride. Apart from the ride, you can find here about 200 species of beautiful birds, hippos and giraffes. Being also popular for the fishing possibilities, here the zoo has botanical garden with lots of species of plants and several of them being special. The zoo is situated between Tarajalejo and La Cuesta de la Pared. It is a great place to spend a very relaxing day.

•             Ferry to Lanzarote – Playa Blanca from Corralejo
If you are staying in Fuerteventura, you should definitely take a ferry to the neighbouring island Lanzarote. The ferries take passengers to Playa Blanca – one of the most beautiful shores of the island, and one journey takes only half an hour. Passengers can also stroll around and do some shopping and sightseeing in Costa Blanca. The ferry’s departure is at 10 am daily and returns at 3 pm, 5 pm and 7 pm.

•             Jeep Safari tours
Take a Jeep Safari Tour in Fuerteventura during your stay as its one of the best excursion on the island. The program starts up from Corraejo and Calte cities. During the day, you can go for hiking, swimming and diving in the beautiful blue lagoons of the beaches. The program also includes a lunch and the visit to the Cultural Centre of Fuerteventura.
